Most people read their daily horoscope by their Sun sign — the sign the Sun was in when they were born. In Vedic astrology, though, forecasts are usually more accurate when read by your Moon sign (Rashi).
Sun sign vs Moon sign
Western horoscopes use the Sun sign. Vedic (sidereal) astrology emphasises the Moon sign because the Moon governs the mind and emotions and moves quickly, making it more sensitive to daily transits. If a horoscope never seems to fit, try reading your Moon sign instead.
Use the right time frame
- Daily — mood, small decisions, timing of the day
- Weekly — themes and short projects
- Monthly & yearly — bigger patterns and planning
Read it as guidance, not fate
A horoscope describes the weather, not your destiny. It points to easier and harder days — you still choose how you respond.
