2.1 Information you give us directly

  • Identity information: Full name, gender, date of birth
  • Astrological data: Time of birth and place of birth — these are essential for kundli calculations and cannot be substituted
  • Contact information: Mobile number, WhatsApp number, email address
  • Communication content: Questions or concerns you share before or during a session, notes from your reading
  • Session recordings: Video or audio recordings of your consultation — only with your explicit consent at the start of the session
  • Payment details: All payment processing is handled by Razorpay. We receive a transaction confirmation but do not store your card number, CVV or bank credentials on our systems.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: Pages visited, time on site, referring URL, browser type, device type — collected via Google Analytics
  • Technical data: IP address, approximate location (country/city level), operating system
  • Cookies: We use essential cookies for site function and analytics cookies to understand visitor behaviour. See Section 9 for full cookie details.

2.3 Sensitive data

Birth details (date, time and place of birth) are considered sensitive as they can reveal personal life information in astrological context. We handle this data with the same care as other sensitive categories and never use it for any purpose beyond providing your requested service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal data only for the following purposes:

  • Delivering consultations: Sharing your birth details and stated concerns with your assigned astrologer to prepare and conduct your reading
  • Booking management: Sending confirmation emails, session reminders and rescheduling notifications
  • Payment processing: Passing transaction details to Razorpay to process your payment securely
  • Report delivery: Sending written summaries, PDF reports and follow-up answers via WhatsApp or email
  • Customer support: Responding to queries, complaints and refund requests
  • Service improvement: Analysing aggregated, anonymised usage data to improve the website and service quality
  • Legal compliance: Maintaining records required under Indian GST regulations and other applicable law

We do not use your data for automated decision-making, profiling for advertising, or selling to third parties.

5. Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the following third parties, strictly as needed:

  • Your astrologer: Your name, birth details and stated concerns are shared with the astrologer assigned to your session. Our astrologers are bound by a confidentiality agreement.
  • Razorpay: Payment processing. Razorpay is PCI-DSS compliant and processes your card and bank information under its own privacy policy. We receive only a payment confirmation.
  • Google LLC: We use Google Meet or Google Video for video sessions, Gmail for email communications, and Google Analytics for website analytics. Google processes data under standard contractual clauses and its own privacy policy.
  • Meta / WhatsApp: We use WhatsApp Business for session communications, report delivery and customer support. WhatsApp’s own terms apply to messages sent through their platform.
  • Zoom Video Communications: Some sessions may be conducted via Zoom at your request, subject to Zoom’s privacy policy.
  • Law enforcement and regulators: Where required by Indian law, court order or government authority, we may disclose information without prior notice.

All service providers are selected for reasonable data protection standards. We do not use third-party advertising networks or share data for marketing purposes.

6. International Transfers

Our primary operations are in India. However, because we use services from Google, Meta and Razorpay, your data may be processed on servers outside India, including in the United States and European Union. Where this occurs, it is governed by the respective provider’s standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

For clients outside India (UK, USA, Canada, UAE, Singapore, Australia and others): by booking a consultation you agree that your data will be processed in India and, via our service providers, potentially in other jurisdictions.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data only for as long as necessary:

  • Birth details and consultation records: 3 years from your last consultation with us, after which they are permanently deleted
  • Payment and transaction records: 7 years from the date of transaction, as required by the GST Act
  • Session recordings: 6 months, unless you request earlier deletion. We will never retain a recording if you withdraw consent.
  • Email and WhatsApp correspondence: 2 years from last message, unless an active dispute requires longer retention
  • Analytics data: Aggregated and anonymised — no personally identifiable data is retained beyond 26 months (Google Analytics default)
  • Marketing consent records: Until you withdraw consent, plus 6 months as proof of consent

After the applicable retention period, data is permanently and securely deleted from all our systems.

8. Your Rights

  • Right to access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you

We do accept kundli matching and birth chart requests for children where the parent or guardian is the booking client and provides consent on the child’s behalf.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. These include:

  • HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted through our website
  • Payment processing via PCI-DSS compliant Razorpay — we never see your card details
  • Access to client data restricted to the assigned astrologer and essential administrative staff only
  • Confidentiality agreements with all astrologers and team members
  • Regular review of our data handling practices

No method of internet transmission is 100% secure. While we do our utmost to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights, we will notify you within a reasonable timeframe as required by law.

12. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites (social media profiles, payment pages, Google Meet). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.
