What is KP Astrology?
Krishnamurti Paddhati (KP) is a modern, highly precise system of Vedic astrology developed by K.S. Krishnamurti (1908–1972). It uses sub-lord theory and stellar astrology to give pinpoint predictions about specific questions — “Will I get this job?”, “When will I get married?”, “Will this property deal close?” — with timing accuracy that traditional astrology rarely achieves.
How KP Differs from Traditional Vedic
KP divides each nakshatra into nine sub-divisions (sub-lords) based on the Vimshottari dasha proportions, creating 249 unique divisions of the zodiac. The sub-lord of the cusp of any house determines whether that house’s significations will materialise — enabling specific yes/no answers with timing.
