A bindu is a point contributed by a planet to a sign. Higher totals indicate stronger support for matters of that house.
What score counts as strong?
In Sarvashtakavarga, totals above about 30 are generally considered strong and below about 25 weaker, though it is always read in context.
Do I need this if I already had a chart reading?
It is a complement. Ashtakavarga adds numerical precision to transit timing that a general reading does not provide.
